Credit Card Sale: traditional eCommerce transaction to the buyer/shopper. Sale proceeds are split between your Stripe account and Single Serve. All costs which include COG, shipping, applicable sales tax [Platform Fees are the sum of these costs] are pulled out of the sale. Your Stripe account which is linked to your bank account deposits the net of the sale [after cc fees from Stripe]
How the numbers work with an order paid by credit card
Example scenario-
Order Revenue = $30 [comes into the store’s Stripe account [merchant account]
Product Sold @ $25 + Shipping Fee @ $5 [paid by buyer]
Less Platform Fees:
Single Serve “Platform Fee” = Cost of product [$12] + Shipping [$5] = $17
Store is left with net proceeds of $13 “less” Stripe Fees [2.9% + $.30 transaction fee]
= $12.32 net moves to your bank account
The Simple Version:
Order Revenue “less” Platform Fees = Gross Profit “less” Stripe transaction costs [2.9% + $.30 transaction fee]
Your bank account is left with your net proceeds from a paid transaction
